Integrity of a sales agent

My wife and I went into a contract with LGI sales agent Mr. Steven Gonzales in Homestead in Elgin Tx. We told Mr. Gonzales at the get goes that we were still in an apartment lease he told us that he will be able to get us out of the lease after closing we believe him. After closing the contract and keys of the new home was given to us Mr. Gonzales advised us to write a letter of reletting to our apartment management and the apartment management charged us $2362.03 when we informed Mr Gonzales, he said since his 9 years of being a sale agent he has not seen where apartment management charges such amount and that he will fix the problem. Mr. Gonzales told tried to call the apartment management several times with no response. When we asked Mr. Gonzales for help with the $2362.03 he told us we are on our own. Mr. Steven Gonzales lied to us and said that he never told us that he will be able to get us out of the lease. Mr. Gonzales now claims that he only promised to show us how to get out of the lease. When we called their office number 866-702-6757 to speak to their manager they denied us an access to their manager. Mr. Steven Gonzales breached integrity code of ethics of his profession. As we tried to work with Mr. Gonzales to help us with the charges of $2362.03 he ignored us and tells us to go to hell. We need help with the charges of the reletting and the 60 days of vacation notice that total $2362.03. We need help please and please with this charges.
