I was able to have American Home Shield call me and try to resolve all the issues. This was the first time I felt like anyone listened to me. While the majority of our issues were solved with a second opinion, we were able to give feedback and also offered a credit for all our troubles. So, this really was helpful!

Home Depot graciously offered me a e-gift card to compensate for my loss. It’s much appreciated because I am presently remodeling my condo.

After spending countless hours on hold and on transfers with ADT with no resolution, I contacted No No No. After 3 business days had still not heard from ADT so I let them know and was contacted by ADT within 2 hours with complete resolution to my issues. Highly recommended!

AHS finally agreed the unit could not be repaired and provided a NO cost replacement that was equal to the unit that could not be repaired. I am satisfied but this should have been resolved in two weeks rather than the month that it took.

A/C unit in sections of house where wife is in home hospice had fan motor froze up. I filled claim with Choice Home Warranty and response was two days later for repair company. I am a retired service connected disabled Vietnam Vet and Electrician. I purchased a new fan motor from Grainger and replaced the fan motor myself. After 24 hours the condenser unit stopped altogether. Repair Technician arrived next day for the scheduled repair. He did his troubleshooting over his phone with his company advisor and determined that I wired the fan incorrectly saying that the fan motor was going to need replacement. I suggested he really should replace the capacitor at this point. He had rewired the fan motor and told Choice that new fan motor was needed to fix problem. Choice response was to me that this problem was not going to be covered as it was before the policy was in effect. This policy was purchased last part of 2021. Still had to pay the $85 fee. I called local A/C company to make repairs. They found that the Choice Company wired it wrong. Replaced the Capacitor and found short and bad connections in disconnect box. Nothing wrong with fan motor. It’s operating as it should with new disconnect box and breaker new replaced capacitor.

My Central Air Unit quit working. I called for service (my first claim), which I paid $800. A Technician was sent and I was told that he would order a new motor. It took over a month for a technician to show up. Then I was told that my unit is under manufacture warranty and that was ome kind of problem. Then I was told that the problem was I could not receive service because it was not normal wear and tear. That is false because my unit was under a maintenance contract by Service Champions and they came twice a year to perform preventive maintenance. The last person I spoke to assured me that I would receive a refund of $800. I only received $185. Your company is not treating me fairly. I am a senior citizen and I have been stuck in this overheated condo for most of this Southern California Heatwave. Please reimburse my money as your representive told me I would. I no longer want your poor service. My next step will be BBB and I will publish this.

I have been without air conditioning since August 21st …My lower zone was not working but my upper zone was.AAA appliance which is a Choice Warranty subcontractor.(Tim PAPE is apparently the owner of the company)came over to my house multiple times and never fixed the lower unit and broke the upper unit.Had a new company come over and stated that this was the worse mess they have ever seen. Not only did they leave hot electrical wires exposed but they spilled too much free on on the upper unit and ruined the unit.So I still have no air conditioning.I now have to replace both air conditioners. This is being done by Harris Air Conditioning located in South Jersey .I really do think that Choice warranty should pay for both of these air conditioners….Terrible service by AAA appliances.I am getting the air conditioning put in on Wednesday.I will be able to send you the bill.If I don’t get some kind of resolution I will have no choce but to take legal action

This is the 2nd time Choice Home Warranty has not responded to a claim. I needed my air conditioner repaired at the beginning of a heat wave. As again I could not get CHW’s technician, I was forced to hire my own. Williams Coal and Oil. They do not, I repeat do not fill out forms . As time is money. I have their bill in the amount of $288.12 and what they repaired. I expect reimbursement. Please.

I have been a customer of Choice for 2 years. 1 st complaint. My water heater was leaking badly. I called and received an email my complaint was registered, and they were trying to find a technician to fix it. Then nothing. After a few days of waiting I called and was told no technician responded. Afraid my water tank would burst( had happened at my other house, I was not showering of doing laundry. After several phone calls I called a plumber. He did not have time to fill out their form and wait to see if it was acceptable ( clearly their way out) so he replaced the tank( took pictures of old tank and with the info and sent it in with an invoice. I received an email saying they did not accept invoices.
