Denial of Benifits

May 22, 2023, 3:40 p.m. by Tracy

Hello my name is Tracy King. I purchased a Auto Warranty or Policy from your company on February 21st 2023 for $1250. I ask the guy who sold me the policy when does the benefits begin he stated 30 days from that date. On 2/21/23 he asked me what was the mileage at the time, I told him it was 92,000. So, 30 days later I recieve a confirmation of coverage and a card to carry. In early April I turn on my A/C and noticed it wasn't blow cold air so I took it in to have it checked and he found 3 issues that needed to be addressed My A/C first, secondly he said there was 2 valves that were beginning to leak on top of the manifold and thirdly there was a problem with the shifting. ASE calls and says they needed the current odometer. I have the mechanic take a picture and send it to me and I gave it to you. So I waited on 4/20/23 ASE emailed me a service contract told everything that we talked about meaning coverage was in thete and my starting odometer reading was 93,000 and to initial and sign so they could process the claim, i did. Then I recieved another one on 4/25/23 and this one had been changed to my odometer reading said 94,705 and that the starting odometer reading begins 95,705.I call your company and asked them why they changed the currentreading and the start reading you told me you just updated it.A week goes by I hadn't recieved any calls or emails in regards to my claim. So I call and I must say your customer care personnel was very rude and they told me my claim was denied. So, I asked them for the reason why. The first reason they gave me was mileage I had drove it far enough and the coverage won't begin until the mileage was 95715. I was upset and knew I had driven it 1700 miles since I purchased the policy. Now mind you when I purchased it I asked what are the requirements before the benefits begin and he told me I had to wait 30 days. Second time I called customer service to talk about the denial they give me a completely different reason saying it was all preexisting. I told them none of it was. So third time they said I had a leak. I asked to speak to the persons supervisor to discuss this and she said she was busy she'll have her Call me back. I have heard a word. This is completely unacceptable and I want to coverage and benefits I was promised and I paid for.
